  • Serving God requires humility

    Sacrifice

You give up your pride for Me.

Meaning: To serve God is to serve others. So yes, one must put one’s ego aside – one is both a servant to God and a servant to those whom God wants you to serve. This involves situations where one is rejected, misunderstood, mocked or ignored. It is far easier to simply put up one’s barrier of pride. Here God reminds me of what He had to go through in order to save us. In comparison, what I sometimes experience is nothing compared to how He humbled himself for our sake.

  • Serving God means accepting that the results is always up to God.

    An example: Healing a person.

Question: Why is it that when I pray for or anoint those who are sick/unwell, some get well and some don’t?

    God’s answer:

    God as a
    basketball coach
    of Team Heaven

    I call the shots.

This is why when people go to a healing priest, for example, some get well and some don’t. The healing grace does not come from the priest but from God.
